John Foy

Leading a new breed of Tahoe kids looking to put their mark on snowboarding, Foy took matters into his own hands this year. Travelling with the team, he pushed on to the next level and put down a rookie part that will turn heads. When you watch No Correct Way you’ll see him holding his own with Bjorn, Marius and the rest of the SDS riders. Never one to ask for things without proof, his riding has done the talking from 90-foot step downs to serious pillow lines in B.C.

Terje, of course.
NCW? Tell us whatever you want about the film?
I had a blast filming and getting to know the team a little bit better. It’s going to be a great film.
Best story of another team rider?
The 05-06-01 party at JP, Graham and DJK’s house in Kings Beach, CA. It was a great party and DJ Paul was spinning records with about 300 or so people. Anyways, Neefus decides to spit beer into the air (standard KC move) and it gets on some Chad. Then the Chad pushes Neefus. To make a long story short, the Chads got their asses kicked, left and came back at 4 am with bats and billy clubs and bashed in most of the windows of the Magic Bus. They did all this while Neefus was getting to know someone better in the Magic Bus.
When you’re not shredding you’re doing what?
In the winter there’s not much else to do. In the summer lots of DH mountain biking, Donner Lake pier chilling, skating, golfing and working.
What do you want to be doing in ten years?
Still be able to walk.
