Eiki Helgason
Living off a strict diet of Pepsi and candy, this young Icelandic rider was first seen on the cover of Snowboarder Magazine last winter. Fast-forward four months and he found himself on his first trip to the US to meet, travel and film with a crew of SDS riders. He made it very clear on the first day that his snowboarding does the talking; all hours in between shredding were spent thinking about filming or waiting for the next chance to get in front of the camera. He had never ridden a sled before or hit a backcountry jump, but that didn’t seem to stop him from putting down some of the heaviest tricks of the year into pow. Nicknamed Pepsi or Jedi by the team, you can expect next-level tricks, style and video p arts this season and for years to come.

Las Vegas. That place is pretty crazy, different from everywhere I’ve ever been.

I can’t name one person, but I’m into tight pants nowadays.

I'm stoked on it. Everybody worked super hard for their parts so the movie turned out really good!
Best story of another team rider?
Will’s first day in the backcountry. He broke his sled on the way up and when he was hitting the jump he broke his board. That was pretty funny.
When you’re not shredding you’re doing what?
I’m skateboarding, making music or chilling my ass off.
What do you want to be doing in ten years?
I want to be able to do everything I can do now in life and more
